Along with his role at KENECH, Mr. Kenda was the founder of a diversified industrial automation manufacturer with roots in the Peoples Republic of China. In addition, Mr. Kenda has also had a long history developing and managing successful ventures in China.
Over his career, Mr. Kenda has held management positions with several large manufacturers and service companies in the energy industry, operating in both domestic and international markets. In addition to his role in managing the industrial automation company, Mr. Kenda has also consulted in the energy industry, working with numerous government agencies and corporate groups on project-related work around the world. OMV PETROM had engaged a search for innovative technology based on the goal of accessing an advanced solution that would deliver significantly higher performance in oil production fields through leading-edge automation functionality. Specifically, the project goals included:
OMV PETROM’s Forum for New Technologies identified a technical proposal from KENECH and EVINSYS based on an OT-Wireless Sensors Network and a Smart IoT RTU. Specifically, the KENECH and ENVINSYS proposal focused on the application of WellLynx hardware for wellhead automation and OptiLynx software platform for data visualization. This new technology package was the key driver in a pilot project that enabled OMW PETROM to engage in a significant digital transformation process, making the company an industry technology leader in digital oilfield operation.
